The Never Ending Battle for MJ Fanmily

It seems as if every time the Michael Jackson fan community gets ready to honor his untimely death anniversary by celebrating the amazing life he lived, we have to always go over a huge speed bump. That huge speed bump being fake tabloid articles.

How come fans of other artists (for the most part) get to celebrate the life and passing or the birthday of their favorite celebrity in peace?

Why is it always a struggle for Michael Jackson fans to do the same? Why do we always have to deal with bull shit stories about him right around an album release, a big tribute show, a holiday theme (Thriller – His song has become the unofficial theme for Halloween) his anniversary death or his birthday?

Why do we always have to get ready to go to war for him? Why do we have to always brace ourselves for yet another already debunked lie about him resurfacing as “new” or “leaked”?

It’s really irritating and tiring. Year after year after year after year after year (you get the point), we go through the same story. The information proving his innocence hasn’t gone anywhere and is readily available to those who seek it. The sad part is we’re so used to it, some of us don’t even care anymore. I personally will never stop caring, and will always defend him every chance I get, but I know people who’ve given up. I refuse to, I can’t; MJ is longer here to defend himself.

If there is one thing I know about Michael Jackson fans though, is that anytime a salacious, false article is written about him, we are ready and prepared with a plethora of information to dismantle the lies into tiny little pieces. We truly make some of the best investigators, researchers, analysts, lawyers and even accountants; you couldn’t ask for a more loyal, dedicated and INFORMED fan base.

Just recently, Radaronline released “new” information stating that Michael had child porn in his house that was seized during the 2003 raid. A few media sites took it upon themselves to reach out the Santa Barbara Sheriff Department responsible for that raid. They replied with a statement denying they released documents to the media. They also stated that some of the documents appeared to come from the internet and unknown sources.

If Michael had ANY type of child pornography he would have been sent to jail

Members from the community exposed Radaronline for adding fake documents to their “information” that they later deleted. There were originally 88 pages in their PDF and it suddenly went down to 60-61 pages.

Hmm I guess that’s why even TMZ didn’t bother to report this story.

Radar put the band 3T in the article as well.

Also, RadarOnline tried to include a “never before seen” video of the raid. Well that video has been available on the internet for quite some time including pictures. All of this had been presented in court and wasn’t incriminating evidence.

We also found documents from 2004 regarding Michael’s defense attorney, Tom Mesereau addressing the same kind of tabloid invented rumor at a Press Conference in 2004.

This one FALSE Radaronline article was copied and pasted to other media sites and it spread like wildfire.

This is just one example of the many false stories MJ fans have to look forward to during a time when we’re supposed to be celebrating his life and legacy. Instead we’re spending this day/weekend once again, defending Michael.

As I stated in my previous post , these false articles are all about sensationalism and advertiser pleasing clicks and profits.

I WILL NEVER be ashamed to be a Michael Jackson fan. He has done so much to try to help the world and it’s a shame that he continues to get treated with blatant disrespect. I like many other fans are aware of the tabloid assembly line that is hell bent on destroying Michael. They’ve been determined to destroy Michael since he broke all kinds of records and barriers and became the biggest celebrity in the world while owning half of the Sony/ATV catalog (including the Beatles and Elvis publishing) in the process.

I dream of the day when I and millions of his fans around the world can celebrate the life of the legendary Michael Jackson without worrying about another pathetic tabloid attempt at diminishing his eternal light.

Sadly, I can probably say I won’t get to experience that dream in my lifetime.

Someone once said “Michael will always be innocent, but will never be vindicated in the court of public opinion”

This quote hurts my heart because despite my pessimistic outlook, I still have a glimmer of hope.

I still believe MJ can be vindicated in the court of public opinion but it would have to take more effort from the media.

There are some media outlets who are concerned with integrity and providing quality information with verifiable sources and allowing the reader to make their own informed conclusion.

Kudos to them.

But they seem to be a dime a dozen.

The sad part about this is that when RadarOnline first appeared, they seem to be about the truth; however, I guess they realized, the truth doesn’t sell nor get shares anywhere near as fast as lies.

Most of the vindication still comes from fans (and a few non-MJ fans) who dedicate hours upon hours researching, investigating, and analyzing data from verifiable sources.

The overall MJ community will be forever indebted to those within (and outside) the fan base who work tirelessly to uphold and spread the truth about the greatest entertainer of all time.

FBI confirms: no child pornography found in Michael Jackson’s estate.

New Michael Jackson allegations: THE TRUTH

The Michael Jackson Rebuttal

Tabloid “Truth” in Today’s Social Media Landscape

As someone who works in social media marketing, what many people don’t realize is that these printed tabloid magazines are now online. They can continue to write many lies about dead celebrities like Michael Jackson because dead people don’t talk. Michael Jackson is still considered the biggest celebrity in the world (even in death) and seeing as how so much fallacy surrounded his personal life (thanks in large part to the media), it’s easier for the majority to believe the lies than the truth. As he once said, “the bigger the star, the bigger the target.”

When Michael Jackson was alive, he indirectly helped tabloids earn a fortune; they printed unsubstantiated and outright false material about him on a regular basis. They could have paid someone $20,000.00 to lie on him knowing the return would be 3x that amount.

Since he’s no longer alive for them to regularly print salacious and false stories, tabloids release these “new” and “leaked” stories right around his birthday or anniversary death. These “new” and “leaked” stories are usually rehashed from years ago that was already debunked as nothing more than fairy tales and wishful thinking.

As I stated above, now that he’s dead, online tabloids/magazines know people are going to search for news about Michael Jackson right around his birthday or death anniversary. It’s a race to the top for these websites. It’s about who can have their page show up on the first “search results page.” They use click bait titles and emotional impacting catchy copy and paste content to draw the readers in. They try to re-incite all your negative doubts about Michael Jackson because they know you’ll share the post.

Studies show negative news spread faster than positive/truthful news (esp when it comes to celebrities). They all copy and paste from each other because they know the average reader won’t bother to do real research; most people take things at face value. They know a negative, false story about MJ will get more clicks and shares than a majority of the other content on their site. When they need a site rankings boost, a Michael Jackson story ALWAYS works; the more negative and outlandish, the better.

What most people don’t understand is when they visit these sites, it drives up the site’s “worth” (in the search engines eyes), meaning they’ll be easier to find on Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. When you share these negative articles, it dramatically increases the backlink rankings, therefore making their website rank higher in search engines and thus, increasing visibility (ex. being shown on page 1 search results instead of page 10). One false story can get shared faster than the speed of light. Today’s Social Media technology has allowed tabloids to their share yellow journalism faster than they could have only dreamed of back in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.

Backlinking simply means referring from another site. Sharing these false articles on top sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. allow the tabloids websites rankings to go up. This makes them more attractive to companies who need to advertise products/services.

Higher search engine rankings also allow them to charge higher advertising fees or receive more money on Pay Per Click advertisements or even sell their site for millions. It’s all about money and how many hits they can get.

In a nutshell, the more you click and share these false articles, the more money they receive in the long run. This is why they’ll rarely report the truth, because as Michael Jackson said the truth doesn’t sell.

If tabloid magazines haven’t told the truth about Michael Jackson in the past, what makes you think they’ll do it now? Today, the money-making possibilities are truly endless! This is why it is even more important for us to share sources that reveal the truth about Michael Jackson and articles and sources that debunk the lies.

You are getting played for fools and don’t even know it and they’re laughing all the way to the bank, all at the expense of further tarnishing Michael Jackson’s legacy.

Unfortunately, MJ fans do as much of a disservice to Michael Jackson as the anti-MJ trolls when they share these articles from tabloid sites. Before you share those articles, please look for MJ vindication sites and videos FIRST to see if they have already debunked the stories and SHARE THOSE INSTEAD (AND NOT THE TABLOID ARTICLES).

A recent false story resurfaced about alleged child pornographic pictures being found in a surprise Neverland raid back in 2003. It has spread across the internet faster than the speed of light, thanks in large part to readers sharing the articles (MJ Fans and anti-MJ haters).

A similar story was created back in 2003/2004 by tabloid magazines and was debunked by Michael’s Defense Attorney, Tom Mesereau Jr. with confirmation from the Prosecution team at a press conference in Alabama in 2004.

Also, it appears Vanity Fair and a few other media outlets managed to reach out the SBSD to confirm the recent (rehashed false) story. The SBSD denies the story.

Child Pornography Rebuttal by The Rageaholic

“PORN” found in Michael Jackson’s home

Did Michael Jackson really have child porn in his house?

Looks like yet another LIE debunked!

Vindicating Michael

Our latest HATER visiting here raised the issue of “porn” found at Michael Jackson’s home. She claims that “Michael Jackson was not a heterosexual. His porn collection proves absolutely nothing outside the fact he was a desperately tortured man who could not at all relate to real women. Also, he had numerous books in which the subject was nude men. One book even was a photographic study of homosexuality; very explicit and it’s content shows it was for erotic purposes. Also, the photo book that was a romantic documentation of two NUDE mens love. What straight man has that? Wake up!”

Our DAVID EDWARDS has honored her with a reply which I fully support: “Regarding the pornography, the only porn found was LEGAL, ADULT, HETEROSEXUAL porn! There were two books that contained children, but it was not pornographic at all! They are legally available on Amazon…
